A simple scheme that defines 3 tags of equal priority:
- tagA - 50% guaranteed bandwidth
- tagB - 23% guaranteed bandwidth
- tagC - 23% guaranteed bandwidth
The remaining 2% is for remote administration of the server.
This gives a maximum of 98% bandwidth guarantees. Of this traffic
assigned to tagA will together share 50% of what bandwidth is available.
There is a ceiling in place so tagA traffic will only be able to take 50% of the
bandwidth.
Traffic assigned to tagB will be guaranteed to get 23% of the bandwidth with a ceiling of 25%.
Traffic assigned to tagC will also get 23% guaranteed and also any
unused bandwidth up to the ceiling of 98%.
